Atlas Of Greats is run by Aparna Rajesh R. This page explains what information this website collects and what we do with it. In short: the only personal information we collect is an email address, and only if you choose to give it to us. We also count visits anonymously, without cookies.

What we collect

Your email address, if you sign up. When you use the “Hear when the next Great arrives” form, we keep your email address and the date you signed up. We use it for one thing: to email you when a new Atlas Of Greats book comes out.

Anonymous visit counts. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we run ourselves, to count things like how many people visit, which pages they read, which country they visit from and what kind of device and browser they use. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect your name, email or full IP address, and does not follow you to other websites. We only ever see totals, never a profile of you.

Nothing else. This website does not use cookies or advertising trackers, and does not ask you to create an account. You can read every page and download every printable without telling us anything.

Children

Our books are for children, but this website is for the grown-ups who read with them. The sign-up form is meant for parents, teachers and other adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone for marketing. The website runs on Cloudflare, which stores the sign-up list for us and, like any web host, briefly processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Our Umami analytics runs on Railway, a hosting service. When we start sending new-book emails, we may use an email-sending service to deliver them on our behalf.

Our books are sold on Amazon. When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon’s own privacy notice applies there.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop sending new-book emails.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your email address at any time. Every email we send will also include a way to stop receiving them.

Changes

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
